All aspects of taxidermy work are practiced at Bucky’s, including big game and mammals.  Each mount is discussed by appointment to provide individual needs to each piece.  Countless hours are spent with live whitetail deer, other big game and mammals studying and photographing the details to bring realistic quality to every piece.

Bucky’s Taxidermy does not improvise on materials. Jeff constantly researches the newest materials available to provide state of the art mounts.  Every piece of reference material is used to create realistic life-like mounts.  Each hide is professionally tanned.  Every mount will be anatomically correct including such detail as septum and sweat bumps added to the nose, white in the eyes, reproducing the nictating membrane in the corner of the eye, and ears positioned based on the symmetry of the rack.

Only the best products are used in each and every mount. From the highest quality glass eyes to new adhesive that will shrink and contract with the humidity in your home, Jeff ensures the longevity of your mount that will be sure to bring back the thrill of the hunt.  Every form is adjusted to fit the hide, which makes each mount unique.  Life size, full shoulder, horn, European and any custom mounts and bases are available.

Jeff’s taxidermy work has become so prominent that he has been given the opportunity to replicate and mount many of the world record whitetail & big game. This is a great honor because the originals must be entrusted with Jeff, and great care must be used when creating molds from the original antlers.
